Children love Reiki. Teenagers love Reiki. Reiki is for everyone!
Most of the clients I see are in fact adults but Reiki is fabulous for children. I know a lady who has learnt Reiki so that she can give it to her young daughter to assist her with her constant pain.
It is a lovely, natural alternative to pain killers and assists children to relax. Children respond so beautifully to Reiki as they are closer to the spirit world.
Reiki is also fabulous for teenagers; especially those who have very stressful experiences, such as the HSC, University or school exams and or assignments. The energy assists them to be calm and to let go of stress. Thus enabling them to acheive grades that are a more accurate example of their knowledge and skills and not merely a reflection of their inability to cope and or panic in stressful situations.
Reiki suits young people as it is non-invasive in its delivery, is done with clothes on, and with only light placement of the hands on the body. There is no discomfort or pressure involved as there may be in other types of treatments.
In our society children and teenagers have many pressures placed upon them, as adults do. Although, unlike adults, children do not always have the skills to be able to free themselves of these stresses and anxieties like adults do.
Reiki is a fabulous way to be able to assist them. |
